When sending flowers to hospitals, it’s important to be aware of their specific policies regarding floral deliveries. We aim to ensure your thoughtful gift reaches its recipient smoothly.
Accepted Hospitals for Delivery: We regularly deliver to the following hospitals:

- St. George’s Hospital
Important Restrictions & Recommendations:
- Christchurch Women’s Hospital:
- Please note: We are unable to deliver flowers to Christchurch Women’s Hospital.
- Christchurch Public Hospital:
- We strongly advise against ordering flowers (fresh or dried) for patients staying at Christchurch Public Hospital. This is because flowers are generally NOT accepted in most wards.
- If you still wish to consider sending flowers, we highly recommend that you:
- Check directly with the hospital or specific ward before placing your order.

Our Policy for Restricted Deliveries:
- If an order is placed for delivery to a hospital ward or unit that does not permit flowers (as stated above or determined upon delivery attempt), we will promptly contact you.
- We will offer to change the delivery to an alternative address.
- Should you prefer to cancel the order, a handling fee of 4% of the order value will be charged.
Rural & Outer Christchurch Deliveries
For addresses located in rural areas or outside of Christchurch, our delivery policies differ slightly. We want to ensure your beautiful flowers arrive fresh and on time, so please read the following guidelines.
Key Delivery Information:
- Same-day delivery generally does NOT apply to most rural addresses and long haul areas.
- Deliveries to these areas typically require 1-3 business days for delivery, depending on the exact location and courier schedules.
Before Placing Your Order (Important!):
- If your delivery address is in a rural area or far outside Christchurch, we kindly ask that you contact us BEFORE placing your order.

- By contacting us in advance, we can confirm delivery feasibility, estimated timelines, and any specific charges for your address.
Policy for Unverified Orders:
- If an order is placed for such addresses without prior confirmation with us, and we are unable to fulfill the delivery, we will promptly contact you.
- Should the order need to be cancelled due to unsuitability for delivery, a handling fee of 4% of the order value will be charged.

For urgent floral needs, we offer same-day delivery services within specific areas. To ensure your order is delivered on the same day, please note our specific cut-off times:

- Orders must be placed by 1:00 PM NZST.
For Business Addresses (in all Christchurch areas) and Outer Christchurch:

Saturday Delivery
We offer Saturday delivery to ensure your beautiful blooms arrive on the weekend for those special moments. Please review the following details and cut-off times:
Saturday Delivery Cut-Off Times:
- For all Christchurch Suburbs:
- Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM NZST on Saturday.
- For Outer Christchurch Areas:
- Orders must be placed by 9:00 AM NZST on Saturday.
Important Saturday Delivery Restrictions:
- Limited Service Areas: Please note that Saturday delivery does NOT apply to all Long Haul Areas.
- To confirm if Saturday delivery is available for your specific address, please:

- Contact us directly before placing your order if you are still unsure.

- Orders for Restricted Areas: If an order is placed for Saturday delivery to an address where service is unavailable (e.g., Long Haul Areas), we will contact you promptly.
- Such orders will be delivered on the next available business day (usually Monday, excluding public holidays).

No Deliveries On:
- Sundays (except Mother’s Day – special terms apply, please see our Mother’s Day Delivery section).
- Public Holidays.
Missed Deliveries
If the recipient is not home, our courier will first attempt to find a safe, shaded spot to leave the flowers, ensuring they are protected from direct sunlight or extreme weather.
If no safe place is available, or if access is restricted (e.g., gated community, apartment building), our courier will attempt to contact the recipient using the provided phone number.
Should the delivery still be unsuccessful after this attempt, we will contact the sender to arrange either a re-delivery or a pickup from our Christchurch store. Please note that a re-delivery fee may apply if a second delivery attempt is required due to recipient unavailability or access limitations.
To ensure a smooth and timely delivery, please double-check that the recipient’s phone number and any specific delivery instructions are accurate and complete.
Incorrect Delivery Details
Providing accurate and complete delivery details is crucial to ensure your flowers arrive smoothly and on time.
If incorrect or insufficient delivery details are supplied (e.g., wrong address, missing unit number, incorrect recipient name, or unclear access instructions), the following will apply:
- Attempted Contact: Our team will first attempt to contact the sender (you) via phone or email to clarify the correct details. Please note that this may cause delays in the delivery of your order.
- Re-delivery Fees:
- If the original delivery attempt fails due to incorrect information, and the flowers need to be re-delivered to the correct address, a re-delivery fee will be charged. This fee will vary depending on the new delivery location and time.
- If the address is corrected while our driver is still able to adjust the route, a re-delivery fee might not be charged, but the delivery may still be delayed.
- Product Quality: We cannot be held responsible for any deterioration in the quality or freshness of the flowers due to significant delays caused by incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.
- Cancellation Policy: If we are unable to reach you, or if the delivery cannot be completed due to persistently incorrect details, or if you choose to cancel the order at this point, a handling fee of 4% of the order value will be charged, and a refund for the perishable flowers may not be possible.
We highly recommend double-checking all delivery information carefully before finalizing your order to avoid any delays, additional charges, or disappointment.
In-Store Pickup
For your convenience, we offer an in-store pickup option at our Christchurch location. This allows you to collect your beautiful flowers directly from our shop.
How to Arrange In-store Pickup:
- Select “In-store Pickup”: Simply choose this option during the checkout process on our website.
- Specify Pickup Time: In the ‘Special Instructions’ box during checkout, please provide your approximate desired pickup time. This ensures your order is fresh and ready for your arrival.
Your order will typically be ready for collection within 2-4 hours for orders placed before our same-day cut-off time, or the next business day if placed after. You will receive an email notification as soon as your order is ready for pickup.
