Dried flowers Care Tips:
Keep Them Dry
- Avoid Moisture: Dried flowers are sensitive to humidity, which can cause them to become moldy or lose their shape. Place them in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from bathrooms, kitchens, or windows where moisture can accumulate.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
- Prevent Fading: Direct sunlight can cause dried flowers to fade over time. Display them in a spot that receives indirect light or is shaded to maintain their vibrant colors.
Dust Regularly
- Gentle Dusting: Over time, dust can settle on dried flowers. To clean them, use a soft brush, a hairdryer on the cool setting, or canned air to gently remove dust without damaging the delicate petals.
Handle with Care
- Minimize Touching: Dried flowers are more fragile than fresh ones. Handle them as little as possible to prevent petals from breaking or falling off.
Preserve with Spray
- Seal and Protect: To enhance their longevity, you can spray the dried flowers with a clear floral sealer, hairspray, or a specialized dried flower preservative. This helps to keep them intact and reduce dust accumulation.
Avoid High Traffic Areas
- Minimize Disturbance: Place dried flower arrangements in low-traffic areas to avoid accidental bumps or knocks that could damage them.
Store Properly
- Long-Term Storage: If you need to store your dried flowers, wrap them in tissue paper and place them in a sturdy box. Store the box in a cool, dark, and dry place to protect them from moisture and light.
By following these care tips, you can enjoy your dried flowers for months, or even years, keeping them as a beautiful and lasting part of your decor.
